Pearlridge Center Lemonade Alley, 2017 Ready to Roll!
Lemonade Alley, 2017 Ready to Roll! Pearlridge Center is once again hosting the Lemonade Alley youth-biz contest to develop entrepreneurial skills among Hawaii K-12 students. This is no small contribution by the shopping center, as a lot of time and money go into planning and staging this annual extravaganza.
Main Event
The seventh annual competition is set for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 8, in the SEARS parking lot. Youth will sell lemonade and other products, pitch their business plans to judges and compete for prizes.
This year we’ll be next to the popular Farmers’ Market. This will attract more visitors than ever before and that means….sell more lemonade in support of their favorite charities!
Best of all, we don’t have to wake up early to build lemonade stands! For the first time in our seven-year history, Lemonade Alley is setting up a big tent to provide shade for contestants and visitors. We’ll also provide tables and chairs. Now students can focus on creating colorful signage for their stands and concocting yummy lemon drinks!
Bottom Line
The nonprofit BizGym Foundation simply could not produce this event without Pearlridge and other generous sponsors. So, Lemonites, when you open your stand for business, be sure to respect our host and show them some love! Pearlridge Center and our other super supporters make this all possible.
Thank you to Pearlridge Center!
