Lemonade Alley 2014 brought together over TWENTY teams who raised more than $12,000 for local charities! Teams of 2-5 children competed in three divisions (K-4, 5-8, and 9-12 grades). Grand-prize winners include: Sweet ‘N’ Sour (division K-4) who raised over $1,500 for Meals on Wheels; Celestial Citrus (division 5-8), raising over $3,000 for Kapiolani Health Foundation; and Team Local-licious (division 9-12) who raised over $1,440 for their charity of choice, Make a Wish Foundation. First and second runners up include: Caribbean Lemonade and Lemonlicious in the K-4 division, LemonAid for Love and Lemonade Sisters in the 5-8 division, and Lemony Good Vibes and Next Step Lemonade in the 9-12 division. Great job lemonheads!!
Proceeds were donated to Make a Wish Foundation, the Hawaiian Humane society, SEEQS Charter School, Hawaiian Community Assets, Hawaii’s Children Cancer Foundation, St. Louis School, Kapiolani Health Foundation, Hawaii Meals on Wheels, March of Dimes, Waikiki Health, Next Step Shelter, Easter Seals Hawaii, New Hope Oahu, and the Alzheimer’s Association Aloha Chapter. Next year’s event is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, April 11th, 2015 in the lot near Macy’s at Pearlridge Center. Team Applications will be open early next year.
