Make a Movie on Your Biz Idea & Get Funded

Camp BizGym is a day camp in which Hawaii K-12 students create a 1-2 minute video on a business idea of their choice to generate funding donation through “crowd-funding” websites.

July 29 to Aug 2, 2013

Monday-Friday, 8am – 12Noon

Program

Mentors will be present every step of the way to make sure you make an awesome movie.

  • Day 1. SCRIPT/Storyboard
  • Day 2. SHOOT/Performance Training
  • Day 3. EDIT/Graphics
  • Day 4. RE-CUT/Viral Strategy
  • Day 5. SHOW (sneak-peek film fest)

A series of local “movie premieres” will follow the conclusion of the camp to create a donation spike to fuel giving from across the country. Premieres include: Children & Family Youth Day Oct. 6, 2013 and Hawaii Council on Economic Education (HCEE) Gala Dinner, Oct. 25, 2013.
